Lewis and Clark Montessori Charter School is open to all families who desire a Montessori education for their children. Enrollment for Lewis and Clark Montessori Charter occurs through the Charter School Public Lottery Process. The Public Lottery for Lewis and Clark Montessori Charter School will occur in the spring of each year for the following fall enrollment. For 2013-2014, the school will enroll Kindergarten through seventh grade students.
Enrollment forms are being accepted for Kindergarten for 2013-2014. A limited number of spaces may be available for 1st through 7th grade for the 2013-2014 school year.
Charter schools are an educational choice for an alternative to the traditional
educational system, and each charter school is very different. In order
to make an informed choice for their child's education, we want parents
to be familiar with the Montessori Method and understand this school's
expectations of the students and families. We, like you, want to ensure a
good fit for your child in this setting, and that there is understanding of the
critical role the family plays in student success at school. Prior to applying
for enrollment in LCMCS, we ask that you familiarize yourself with the
information about the various programs here on our website.
To be entered in the enrollment lottery, parents need to complete an application for each child they wish to enroll in the upcoming school year and return it to the school office by the date shown on the enrollment form. (Please note that students who have previously had an IEP with their home school will need to schedule an IEP team meeting to get team approval for placement at LCMCS.)
