At the end of the school day, children find a place for creative learning and relaxed play at LCMCS in our MAP! program. MAP! is a comfortable, safe, and enriching after-school program run by experienced, nurturing staff and aligned with Montessori principles. MAP is open to LCMCS students as well as kindergarteners and first and second graders from the local community and throughout the Gresham-Barlow District.
At our before-school breakfast program and from 2:30 to 5:45 p.m. Monday through Friday, MAP! students enjoy a peaceful environment in which to work on reading, writing, and homework; eat a healthy snack; play indoors and out; and learn creative, enriching new activities in a relaxed, guided setting. For LCMCS Kindergarteners, we provide lunch, quiet time, and activities from 11-2:30.
